I have asked this question directly to Jaguar dealership and they did reply saying that they do stock them. So you definitely have a choice... how much choice tho im not to sure.

Probably just larger Sottozero winter tyres.

You should likely do tires and rims. Low profile tires don't protect the rims well enough in the winter. I store my car when it starts snowing and it stays stored till the thaw. Looks like most people do, went looking on Tire Rack for snow tires and zip. But, with some work, you can likely find skinnier wheels with the right bolt pattern and tires that will fit them. You want to go thinner for snow and ice anyway.

Road and Track just did a comparison of a variety of sports cars that included an SVR. They got a 0-60 mph time of 3.0 seconds and an 11.2 second 1/4 mile. In a straight line the SVR is a rocket.

If you literally couldn't wait, you'd literally explode at this very moment. Duck, everybody!

Congrats on your pending acquisition... and welcome to the zoo!

Definitely a RWD R. Has no brake vent behind the front wheel. (I think that's what you meant to say).

That is a very awesome looking jag. Qu, since you have owned your SVR a while is it worth it? I currently have a V6 S and thinking of upgrading to one.

on the picture in the configurator i noticed there is a extra button on the steering wheel which is a bit to blurry to make out properly, either way this is not on my current R and only seems to change if its the svr spec?

Almost looks like a speech/voice activation symbol?

Confused!
it's just the configurator using same steering wheel pic on multiple models

no f-type has radar cruise (buttons on right)

Quick Question for you. Did you go for the ceramic brakes? If so or if not, discuss why. I might order one early in 2017. Cannot decide whether it makes sense or not. Thanks,

I ordered mine without, I like them and I like the look of the wheels but at 8.5k I just couldn't get there as I'm never going to track the car so it would be purely for looks. I've ordered a vert and there are none in the UK at all as demo or second hand. I considered waiting until there was a demo for sale with them on but I only wanted it in grey and could be a long wait so I went for regular brakes.

Here is an interesting shootout between the SVR and the Corvette (C7 GS ?):

I hope it's not a repost....

I saw one on the web in rhodium silver which I like. I have a lunar grey S now. Thanks for your response. I think I'm going to go for it and order mine in march or April. I will most likely pass on the ceramics as well.

The US ones you see for sale as new in stock cars tend to mostly have Carbon Ceramics, but the UK ones don't, if you order new, its a 4 month wait + however long to ship to the US, i'm halfway through the 4 months of pain here! good luck
