NEWBIE - here and looking to purchase my first Jaguar.

I am looking to get a 2021 F-Type and considering the R-Dynamic or the First Edition. I have only driven a First Edition and loved it. I am looking at a few R-Dynamic (V6s) and the only real down side is they come with the standard seat. I will be paying more per month for the R-Dynamic. Is it really worth it to pay up for the V6 and get the lower quality seats? Or go with the First Edition with upgraded interior.

I know it depends on how I drive etc.. I guess my main question is are the standard seats still nice and comfortable?

Th R-Dynamic can be had with the Performance Seats, but unless you order to your own specs and wait (extra wait, given COVID-19), you're going to be constrained by what dealers have in stock.

I think the main issue with the seats isn't so much how you drive as how well they feel for you. Even more than "is it too loud/quiet" or "is it too firm/soft" the ergonomics are very personal. I sat in a few cars and the Performance seats felt good. They fit me. Some have complained about the seams down the middle of the back, but I got suedecloth inserts, so have not had that problem.
