Default F type V6S rear brake pads

Good Day Ladies and Gents,

recently, I stumbled upon an issue with my rear brake pads size.

I purchased ADJ134249/BLP Blue Print brake pads for my V6S with the length of about 104 mn and they do not fit! My mechanic has checked the current brake pads and they have around 114mm length. Why is that? Now, I can’t seem to purchase the correct pads, since every website suggests the same, 104mm pads when I type my F Type details.

May I ask for your advice in the matter?

attached, photo of my rear brakes. Do I have the optional super brakes 370+ mm rear?

kind regards

Looks like you have the R rear brakes. Wasn’t that a “Super Performance” option on the car?

Super Performance brakes were optional on the V6S, so if a brake pad listing doesn't show options for the V6S, I'd look up the R.

Yep, 99% of the time a seller will list V6S rear brake pads as those for the 326 mm brakes as that is/was the standard fitment for a V6S - the "high performance" brake spec. If you have the optional V6S "super performance" brakes (380 mm front and 376 mm rear) which are/were standard fitment for the F-Type R then you need to look up F-Type R rear brake pads not F-Type V6S. Very very few V6S were ever specced from new with the "super performance" brakes, it seems the OP has one of those rarities.
The 326 mm brake pads look identical to the 376 mm ones but they are not the same, as the OP has discovered the 376 mm pads are a smidge longer.

I special ordered mine, so can't speak to the rarity. I'm not saying I've got a brake fetish or anything like that ...

OK. Maybe I am.

In any case, if you've got the 379mm rear rotors, look for R pads.
