Default F-Type V8S-POV Exhaust Drives

Hi fellas,

Given that I will be putting the car in storage soon as it is getting cold up here in Montreal, Canada, I thought I would share some videos of the car from the summer months. Just a few runs in the F-Type with a POV GoPro and mic attached to the exhaust. No animals were hurt during the filming of these videos.

Great job. Where did you mount the microphone? Just above the exhaust? Between both outlets? Wind deflector? Just curious.

Actually, you can drag the wire under the wind deflector and through the trunk. At the base of the trunk there is the rubber that protects the water from getting in. As such, I just tucked the cable all around the rubber protector and let it hang inside the trunk and let it hang out on the plastic panel. It picks up 95% of the noise correctly and you can even hear the valve opening up in the second video at the 11 second mark. There is a slight metallic screech. You can also let the microphone hang outside the trunk to pick up even better sound but you need a dead cat to block off the wind noise which at the time I did not have.
