Jaguar doesn't offer 7500 mile leases? I know Porsche offers 24 month 5000 mile leases.

I did not ask my cousin about the mileage restrictions, however in three years he only put 9000 miles on his Audi S5 so 7500/year would not be a problem for him. I asked him if the lease offered him was for a 2014 or 2015, he said it was for a 2015 (he's pretty sure). And finally he said the sticker on the car was approximately $107,000. Hornburg told him they were able to package several factory incentives together to get to that rate. The Porsche, on a considerably less expensive car, was 75% higher per month with 250% higher on the down payment. This deal, although he didn't take it, seems to be an incredibly good one.
For anyone in Southern California (or elsewhere) interested in more information, my cousin said he would provide the saleman's contact information as well as the details of the offer. Just let me know.

Chase is the only lessor for Jag (you might be able to go with US Bank but good luck with those residuals) and their std tier 1 F Type R buy rate at 36 months was .00107 and that was a few months ago. I seriously doubt it went up during this highline car sale push. Jag/Chase is subvening certain models. EG the money factor was .00088 on the V6 S vert--- that's cheap lease money (2.11%) as money factors on leases are always higher than retail money unless subvented via the OEM.

Chase offers both a 7500 and 5000 mile lease. (+4 and +5 on the residual percentage).

Just considering the new F type "R" and was wondering if dealers are discounting the current 15 models? There sure seems to be a large inventory of cars available.
What should one expect off the sticker price of let's say $106K
No lease, just straight out purchase.

I'd say $10K max at this point. My local dealer still had a '14 V8S convertible still on the lot just 3 weeks ago. They discounted that car $18K and sold it.
$0-5k 2016
$5-10k for 2015
$10-15k for 2014
I've seen some fabulous deals around $80k for '15 V8Ss with under 3k miles. Makes one wonder about the strength of the resale value.

Go to the AAA site and use their new car buying service. They'll send you different discount certificates for 2 or three "OnLine" dealers in your area. If you like the discount walk that certificate in to the dealer of your choice and there's little haggling. These deals seem to be better than the ones they offer on the lot. I was even able to use one of those certificates for a '15 to get the same discount on an order for a '16. Also be certain to take advantage of the additional $2500 JCNA club discount if you take delivery before March 31.

The base cars seem to be holding up pretty well. As with most makes, highly-optioned cars and higher dollar cars tend to suffer more depreciation percentage-wise, but there are always exceptions to that general principle.

Interesting indeed. I beat TrueCar by $5K on my F-Type, and my wife just purchased a '15 MB C-300 and also beat their price by $4K. I just pulled the numbers for both cars identically equipped.

As it turns out, I mistakenly built a more expensive car when using their system the first time, which was the basis for my incorrect assertion above. When I went back to recheck, I paid closer attention and built it more carefully so that it exactly matched our window sticker.
I did, however, beat their F-Type pricing by $5K, but that was on a '14 last June, so I would have expected a deeper discount than available on 15 cars right now.

As long as we're talking discounts...I purchased my 2015 V6S mid-Oct with an MSRP (including dealer destination charges) of just north of $93,000 (or was it $92,000?, don't have the sticker in front of me) and paid $82,000 (roughly 12% off MSRP, 11% if the latter). Thought that was a great deal - combined with $20,000 down and 1.89% financing for 5-years.
