Fair assessment, Mercedes versus Jaguar ?
Watch this video. Did dizzy Cindy botch up the evaluation scores because she drove the Jag and the male driver who appears very serious did a better job driving the Benz. Cindy was too busy playing with her hair and giggling throughout the video.

Well, I would doubt the validity of the comparison, but the drag race looked fair. In this comparison test I would expect the Mercedes to win.....given the judges.

 

Well, actually Cindy Allemann is a real race car driver, as is Johannes Stuck, son of the ex Forumula 1 driver Hans-Joachim Stuck!

ditto, Cindy is a real race car driver, all comparisons I saw the AMG pulls away from the Jag except one with an AWD R in a drag race. I am not frustrated over other cars being faster. I had three Porsches at the same time a Cayman with TPC turbo and about 520hp, a Boxster RS60 Spyder and a tuned 911 turbo. All of them handle better, the turbo will always out accelerate a Jag. But they are not fun until you get passed 4,500rpm and power kicks in. Daily driving the motor and exhaust was hardly noticeable. i prefer the visceral experience of the Jag and the AMG GTS is certainly in that realm but also has the technology to launch hard.
