I am trying to DIY my bluetooth issue with my 2012 XK.

Would someone from this group be willing to post a photo of their Bluetooth module on their F-Type? I am trying to cross reference the part number (can't seem to find it on the searches I am running.) A big plus if you have ever broken open the module and can post the photo of the motherboard.

Rational is that unless I have lost my mind, the connectors ought to be the same and if the module is still only for Bluetooth...maybe I can upgrade my motherboard and gain current Bluetooth capability for my unit car.

I do not have a picture, nor have I pulled the modules apart, but have included a link below to the entire Entertainment system in the F-Type that may help. There is a lot of BT info farther down in the document.

The question is:

Would a 2012 XK have InControl Touch Pro, as the Rock's document specifies?

I don't think that was fitted to Fs until after 2018....

 

No, the '11 model still had the blue and white faced one from memory, and the 12 was the black and white faced one which was the unit in the first F types.
