haha..man, we all really need to get together one of these days!

I actually had it back at the dealer over the Summer, with some minor equipment removal...they looked the other way.

Any ideas on a builder for the tranny!? I know there's a joint in Australia that deals with the 6spd ZF.

Don't really think I need another tranny until I get ready to rebuild the engine (hopefully not for at least another 100,000 miles.)Yes, that would include the forged pistons, shot peened rods, etc. and an R1900 SC. Hoping a Tremec would fit. No need to reinvent excellence.

350-400 shot surely would see you running deep into the 9s! Have you ever thought of running a larger supercharger if you're going to rebuild the engine, like a TVS 2300 for example. Lingfelter offers this upgrade on the ZR1 Corvette which has the same TVS 1900 as the 5.0SC f types stock so it could potentially work if there's enough under hood space.

Yeah, I think the only rub would be launching the car hard. I'm not trying to build custom axles, ring & pinion, etc....etc....by hitting the tire hard from a dig. So, I'm not sure how deep in the 9s, maybe more like 9.6x...but at 170mph hahahaaa...

I have thought about the TVS2300 and have searching the internets hard. I thought, while *close* it still wasn't a direct swap?
But if it lines up that way, I'd def be game and worry about the hood clearance later.

The problem with the TVS2300R is the length of the charger body compared to the 1900R. I looked into it with the same plan. The OEM case is very different from the generic 2300 as well I believe.

Philly, If you do manage to adapt an R2300 to your engine, I would buy the R1900 from you.

You can buy mine if I decide to port it or swap as well.

By the way Philly, could you PM a picture of your meth/h2O setup at the injection point? I've got a 200 psi pump, tank and controller from my old car I'd like to use. Thanks!!

The case of the R2300 is a bit bigger, but then I've seen many similar upgrades using TVS and twin screw superchargers on other cars which leads me to think a swap would be very possible if the adapting parts were made and there's enough space. Whether you'd be able to make use of the potential of the 2300R within the limits of the stock internals is another question however. Would be a very nice upgrade for the xkr and xfr too if such a kit were developed.

Getting closer...but I swear...I keep throwing more at it...and it doesn't want to go faster. May have to get back on the dyno and see what's up.

All passes were really close to each other, but here are two:

60' 1.587
330' 4.448
1/8 6.759 @ 106.24
1000 8.741
1/4 10.423 @ 134.87

60' 1.640
330' 4.499
1/8 6.785 @ 107.60
1000 8.749
1/4 10.417 @ 135.89

Ha, thanks man! Actually yeah I do. I think it was the +10mm larger one that the shady company Vmax offered many months ago. If there's something bigger for more boost - I'm all ears

Do I still owe you pics of my methanol setup? Alot of it is hidden, but I'll see what I can get.

Any parts in particular? or just in general...either way, no problem.

Forgot to post up this gem:
0-60 in 2.8 seconds

Eh, that's the thing. I put in jets for a 150 shot...BUT...the car is ET'ing and trapping like it only has a 125 shot.

Also, for how quick I was bringing in the nitrous...IMO...the car should 60' harder. So either I need to throw the whole kitchen sink at it right from the hit OR the ecu is pulling timing, etc...etc....to reduce torque.

that 2.8 second 0-60 was my very first pass and it was a 1.58 60'....rest of the day, I couldn't duplicate it and ran about five 1.64-1.67 60 foots.

Philly, you should log your runs via OBDII using a datalogger like the BT1A too with Dash Command like I do to track timing and fuel.
