By the way, it connects via Bluetooth to your IPad or IPhone. Not the fastes data aquisition, but you can watch the data in real time (not recommended in a 1/4 mi pass lol), save log files and export to Excel or view them in playback on the screen while you are waiting in the line-up.

Get the wifi version (OBDLink MX) for fast data acquisition. I hook mine up to a laptop. Offers a lot more legibility, and much easier to select all the parameters you want to monitor. (You can still link to the iDevices, if you want, with wifi).

Curious to know how much power you're making. With your traps i'd think somewhere VERY close to 700whp

Considering Stuarts data puts us at ~630-640 with his tune and lower supercharger pulley; a 70 shot of nitrous on top of that would put him over the 700 mark, and that doesnt include the porting.

I'm dying to get back to the track with a proper set of tires to see if I can get anywhere close to a 10.99 on motor.

It seems the car can handle this level of horsepower, at least for some period of time. Some discussion in other threads concerning tuning limits need to benchmark against Philly Singles car. I believe he is pushing the most power. All stock rear end?

I've always been concerned about the open deck block on these motors.

Philly is really the only person who's gone beyond the basics on an F-type so it really is a small sample size. And something to keep in mind is that he's RWD. These mods may not fair as well on the center diff of the AWD units without further upgrade.

Stohlen - I bet you get get that 10.99 with a perfect launch in nice cool weather. I haven't made an only boost pass in quite some time...but it cracked off an 11.02 without much effort.

You have a good point about the awd system and bigger power. But as for me, yes, stock rear end with a bunch of launches at the track. I'm still somewhat torque limited, which is obviously helping. The car will pull 1.63 60' time after time no matter how much nitrous I throw at it at launch.

And yeah on my best passes, the math says the car is probably making 710-ish rwhp.

I would be thrilled if you're right, but I'm still .4 seconds away from that, so there's a ways to go. New tires are the first step. Second is to eliminate the fuel dump at high rpm to cool the cats. Then maayyyybeee.
