On a more serious note - and not to high-jack this thread - what's the latest with your car Lance?

 

Running gear all back together again. Fuel filler insert scheduled to arrive today and car ready for pick up tomorrow.

 

In actuality, I haven't high-jacked this thread at all. It will soon be read as:

FINALLY I HAVE ONE. BACK.

And that is now true! In good customer service manner, my service department under promised and over delivered (1 day earlier than promised). Fuel filler insert arrived around noon and the car is now ready for pick up. Gotta go!

 

Took delivery of my order 2 days ago, a Base Coupe, IRR, with ivory seats and contrast black stitching, leather uppers. Got it home yesterday, 120 miles. I barely know how to drive this car; I'm still concentrating on the transmission modes, getting a feel for go pedal, and keeping her between the lines. This is the first time I've driven this car since my one hour test drive in May. Absolutely delighted with it. I have made a few observations/first impressions with some mild surprizes. More later.

 

Congrats MJM, I love the IRR with the ivory seats.
