What do you folks recommend for a forward looking cam? does re-run only work with gopro? If so, can the gopro be configured to continuously record? it’s a leased car and i really don’t want to tear up too much to install it, so hoping you lot have suggestions for something that would fit the mold

A friend of the family had a situation where someone faked being hit by him at an intersection, the person just fell in front of the car and slammed her arms on the hood. she threatened all sorts of law suits until he showed her his forward facing camera. she left the scene with the quickness after that.
