Any southern California forum members who are not going on the Jaguar drive and meet in Santa Barbara this weekend? The French/Italian Car Show at Woodley Park in Van Nuys is a terrific show that always draws a lot of very interesting cars and usually has a great turnout. I will be attending with my Italian built De Tomaso Pantera which I am picking up tomorrow after 4 long years of modifications and some restoration. The show has free admission and what better way to spend a beautiful, warm, fall day in sunny SoCal. Hopefully, I'll see some forum members there and maybe we can grab a late lunch and/or a beer nearby afterwards. I'll be standing next to the beast below if you want to stop by and say hello.
Just in time for the French/Italian Car Show, this Sunday, I picked up my Pantera about an hour ago. She is beautiful, and she's home after 4 long years. Ear splittingly loud, I will have to keep earplugs in the car for rides longer than a few minutes. But who cares?! There are a few little gremlins to still take care of next week, but nothing that will prevent me from driving her. Below are some pictures from picking her up. Getting her from the detail/paint shop Try not to stare! What a rear end! All new seats with leather diamond quilted upholstery and all leather dash.
