Default All British Car Show in Winter Park Florida this Weekend

Tampa Bay British Car Club Members and Friends:

The weather is getting warmer and will soon be the summer with the start of the rainy season. Lets get those cars out and enjoy them before it’s too hot and too wet.

This weekend (April 11) is the All British Car Show in Winter Park at Mead Gardens. Several Club members are planning to attend, but we are keeping an eye on the weather. This is a great show with a very nice and shady venue.

Gary & Ro Hansen are planning to attend the GOF April 17 to 19. Anyone planning to attend the Howey-in-the-Hills GOF and wanting to convoy, please contact them at rosegary525@gmail.com or 727-559-1981. They plan to leave the Palm Harbor area late morning on the Friday.

The next Burger Quest is April 19 at the Clear Sky Draught Haus in Dunedin.

We need Good Burger Joints for the Tampa Bay British Car Club’s Burger Quest. If you know of a good burger place that can hold our group and has good parking please contact Mike Silvernail with the details. mikenail41@gmail.com

The Sun n Fun Fly in at Linder’s Field in Lakeland will be having a classic Car Show on the field with the Planes. The Free Entry for Classic Cars, the best (free) parking and free admission for 2 people. Saturday car show is Full. Registration for Sunday's show ends April 17. www.sun-n-fun.org/flyin/cars/. Several TBBCC members are planning to attend on Sunday.

The next Tampa Bay British Car Club Monthly Meeting is April 23.

Attention all NEW members, the Tampa Bay British Car Club will provide name badges for both the new member and one significant other with your initial membership. To keep a British Car in proper running order, they need regular exercise. What is better than a Rallye or Show. There are several great events in the next several weeks; Pick one, polish the car and have some fun with like minded people.

All the events are open to ALL Clubs, cars and people. Get your classic car out and have some fun.

Anyone that goes to any events please send us your pictures and they will be posted to the club Facebook page.

Every Sunday morning 8:00 to 10:00 AM The McDonalds on Tom Stewart Causeway at Madeira Beach. This is a group of British Car enthusiasts who have some lively discussions and enjoy driving their classic cars. Any and all are welcome.

April 15 - Cherokee, NC. - Peace Love Mini - Mini 56. We're going back to the amazing twisty roads around Cherokee, North Carolina. The theme is 60's Hippie!! Located at the south entrance of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and at the beginning of the Blue Ridge Parkway we will be based within the beautiful mountains with amazing roads. As with all of our CMU events, we like to drive, and that's what we'll be doing. We will have drives each of the three days with plenty of stops and things to see. Friday night will be the Hippie party with the swap meet and silent auction. The Campground and hotel fill up fast so go to the club website and get all of the information. As with all of our events, this is for everybody, but all of the drives/cruises/anything is only for classic Minis and its variants produced from 1959-2000, no exceptions. Wow, Vector, that's list and a half!
Great work thanks so much on behalf of all.

It may be an idea to consolidate it into a list in the next post, also highlighting ( perhaps in red ) the latest meet event so that people can see at a glance.
