Anyone had their front bumper repainted?

Can you tell me what you paid? I have a 2015 F-Type R, Italian Red (see my signature for photo)

 

I removed the front bumper on my Audi and took it to my local Maaco - they looked up the paint code and prepped and sprayed it for about $300. I picked it up and re-installed it. The owner said that removing and installing the bumper myself saved a lot of ducats. End result was excellent as far as color matching and paint quality. It wouldn't hurt to get a quote if you have the time.

 

Are you referring to the actual black bumper in the grill or the front nose of the car?

 

Front nose. I’m planning on taking the bumper off myself, and removing all of the grills and emblems, and then just taking the front nose to have it repainted.

 

I’m planning on doing what this guy does in this video:

Then taking the grill and anything else off so that it’s just the bumper by itself.

Then take it to a paint shop. I’m getting quotes now for the paint job.
