Default Front End

Hi all! I'm picking up my new F Type this weekend. I'm just debating the front end kit protection kit (fenders, mirrors, hood and bumper). Anyone have any input? Thanks!

If you mean Xpel film or one of the others I would recommend but get a shop that cuts their film to fit, rolls the edges so they are covered and wrapped and get someone who has done f types if you can find them. I had a chip before I was able to get it done. I dread to think what you've have without this protection.

I don't have it and highly recommend you do. Already getting chips and it has not seen much highway time.

I did the Xpel (full hood wrap incl. edges) plus front end pre-cut, mirrors and rockers. Pce of mind on such a nice and expensive car. I drove through a patch of gravel on the road the other day and could hear all the pings.....my wife looked at me expecting a bunch of expletives and I calmly shrugged and said; that's what the protection film is for.

I'm obsessive about my car, but my obsession has limits. I did not have any extra protection installed and just drive the car. Rock chips don't bother me nearly as much as door dings. One is from normal use, the other from carelessness.

I've booked mine in (when it arrives) to have the hood, front wings, bumper, sills and rear arches covered.

but i've just noticed that the rear arch is continuous up over the windows to the A pillar.

is it normal for the wrap to go all the way up over this as well (to avoid cut lines) ?

what about the rear bumper ? would this be normal to get done as it starts at 3/4 of the rear arch
