Default Front sensors popping out? 10 Degrees out

Hey folks,

Noticed the front sensors were popping out. Is this because of how cold it is outside? it’s currently 10 degrees. I’ve attached some pics, can anyone tell why? I did try to poke them back in.

They are not sensors they are the covers for the headlight washers.
My guess is that some water trapped behind them froze overnight and pushed them out, and then the ice melted away.
They should simply and gently push back in.
If that doesn't work you may need to operate them (turn them on) - set the ignition to ON, turn the headlights on, then hit the windscreen washer button a few times. The washer nozzles should pop out and spray the headlights on every third sweep of the wipers.
Once the washers have stopped check to see if the covers have now gone fully back into place.

I wouldn't PUSH them in.

Just keep an eye on them...I bet they return to the fully flush position when the weather warms.

If they had a mechanical issue, it would be one side or the other sticking out.

Maybe you have summer washer fluid which froze.

One of mine was a bit misaligned so wouldn't return without a bit of help from me. Front fender realignment sorted that out (at the expense of slight misalignments elsewhere!).

I would not push on them either. You will crack the plastic mechanism. As others said, wait until it warms...Or use a hair dryer and slightly warm it up. If it is frozen, it will melt and re-align. Also, may want to put some -20 degree windshield solution if you are driving or out during the winter.
