You’re probably referring to the knock sensors.

Really need to know where exactly you’re referring. A picture would help.

It’s function is to detect irregular detonation in the piston combustion. The sensor sends signals depending on engine vibrations, and the ECM can make adjustments to stop this “knock.”

Car will be driveable but fairly important to move on this as there’s a small risk of severe engine damage if left too long.
