Default intake manifold compatibility for xk8 '98 xk8

Having a hard time finding a good used intake manifold for my 1998 xk8 convertible. i need the intake manifold that includes the fuel rail crossover w/bleeder valve (?). i found one without the hose but it won't work for me. i've been searching for '98 xk8 but it occurred to me that other years/models might work. can anyone help?

When you say the cross over hose is missing, is it just the hose missing or the 2 bits that are connected to the fuel rail on the intake?
If its just the hose - you can replace this on its own. I think the one Jaguar used was called Suregrip. Goodyear makes one called Insta-grip. Designed to push on once, you pretty much have to cut it to get it off.

The 97 and 98 engines are the AJ26, 99 went to the AJ27. You can use the manifold form 97-98 XK8 and XJ8 all the same engine.

The 90 broke on the passenger side of manifold. Fuel rail is inside of manifold. Pressure valve on drivers side has bolt that holds valve in place but the threaded insert pulled out when tightened. The fuel lines are on the back side on the intake manifold towards the fire wall. I have found manifold for '98 xk8 with fuel rails on outside of intake but fuel rails are in the middle. Does this matter?

I've never tried nor hear of anyone who has tried, but looking at the differences between the 2, I don't think you can. AJ27 has the air assist plumbing, you would have to block that off somehow. Plus I think the connectors for the injectors are different
I think you're better off tracking down an intake from same year as yours.

As avern1 said - it doesn't matter whether its from an XK or XJ AJ26 engine, it'll be the same.
