Fuel additive recommendations?
Ok, I thought I would already find a thread on this but didn't really for F-Types. Any good recommendations? I have used Lucas Fuel treatment in the past but wondered if anyone has a good idea for these supercharged engines?
Thanks

None. Your car is obviously too new to benefit from fuel injector cleaners (which do work) and pretty much all other additives don't do anything. Keep in mind the fuel you buy already has additives in it, assuming you're not filling up at some garbage no name stations.
Even the worst off off brand gasoline has been found to have more than an adequate quantity and quality of additives. Not much difference in fact between those and 'top tier' brands.
AAA did an extensive investigation.

I always use Techron when I do oil changes on all my cars. I've never experienced any fuel related problems with any of them. If it's working or not I don't know. I get it at Costco and its like 20$ for 6.
While there is no way of knowing where off brand gas station get their fuel, more often then not it is the same gas with different additives, the worst of it will deal serious damage. Sediment and rust, separated fuel with water, excessive sulfur and ethanol... it will cost you more to fix the car once than lifetime of savings you will get there.
I don't know why, but Mikey likes to pretend that there is no such thing as bad gas. Maybe he owns an off-brand gas station? Who knows, don't listen to him. Buy gas at a high-volume, high-traffic branded stations. Shell. BP. Saving couple cents while risking F-type is downright foolish.

Buy ethanol free (if possible) top tier fuel and don't use additives. F-type has direct injection engine, traditional additives are not designed for this new-ish tech.
Is there one brand that's always better? No.
Some people like to turn gasoline into rocket surgery. Beware.
No need to take my word for it. Go read the AAA report that documents it.
1. buy premium with ethanol
2. Buy 85 octane without ethanol(12 minutes drive out of the way)and add one of the above.
3. Buy 91 octain with no ethanol is about 15 minute drive.
Price goes up a fair amount as you move down that list. So opinions on what is best and is ethanol gas that big of a deal to these engines?
Thanks
No. It's not a 'deal' of any proportion beyond the 3% fuel consumption increase.
Buying 85 octane and trying to boost it to 91 octane would cost a fortune. Those off the shelf cans increase the octane level at only .1 per bottle.
You'll gain nothing by using grades higher than the Jag recommended 91 octane.

So you discount additives like "race gas", Torco accelerator, and Royal Purple Max-boost. I can tell you there are a lot of not great gas options. Living in Colorado it is very hard to find 91 octane with no ethanol gas and forget 93 octane. So for me I have 3 options.
