Fuel-fired booster heater?
1. I see fuse #F16 is labeled 'Fuel-fired booster heater.'
2. Can't find anything about the F-type, but I see the S-type shop manual lists a fuel operated auxiliary heater that heats the engine coolant if ambient temp is below 50F and coolant temp is below 189F.
3. The cabin heat in the F-type comes up faster than in any other car I've owned.
So I'm guessing we do in fact have this booster heater? Is this for the benefit of the engine, or the driver?

I see a similar thing for a Land Rover, except that its diesel. Has an actual burner (with a flame), air supply and fuel pump. Can't imagine such a thing fueled by gasoline, but maybe...can't have one's tootsies getting chilled on a early morning grouse shoot...
I had assumed this would be a generic fuse-box label to be used in diesels. Haven't checked to see if there's a fuse. Just curious if Jag went out of their way to heat up the engine faster, and if so, why. We engineers wonder about such things.
And I'm not really expecting a diesel F-type...

Super charger pulleys? Now we know why those two F-types really melted down.
They must be using a generic fuse block common with the diesel models.
