After a discharged battery, why I don't know, I experienced the remote start/climate function from my Iphone not working and reporting window open.
Dealer didn't know but my research took me to page 160 in my 2016 F-type Handbook where I learned to easily do a Window Reset. Problem solved!!!

Even then, mine took several attempts of the window reset procedure across a couple days before it decided to work. Weird.

 

Yes it took me 2 diligent attempts before it worked. I think the key to weather it would work or not was the drivers window had to function as a one click close. Initially it did not (had to hold up the button) but the passenger side did.

BTW gentlemen I think I discovered why the dead battery [Initially thought it was age, ie. July 2015] but now believe it was my new Blue Driver OBD scanning tool which did not disconnect the power draw as stated here..UGH https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f-type-x152-72/obd-scanner-best-suited-our-cars-213150/
