Default Geez, they must have been going fast

I would guess they were going 150mph down a street with tons of stop lights to end up embedding a suspension spring into a cement wall, have other parts of the suspension bounce hundreds of feet away, and skin the sheet metal from the car.

I'm impressed that the lights (the ones left) still work.

Wow.

Actually impressive how the car maintained structure and resisted pretzel-ing.

@lotusespritse any further details from your local news? Was this a "drive it like it's stolen" situation? The embedded spring in the store's wall is unreal...

my service writer reminded me that the outside was designed to go before the passenger compartment. Images of mine are in the thread about my Labor Day rollover at roughly highway speed (posted 75 MPH) near Williams (AZ).

Meanwhile, from the photos, mine still looked relatively unscathed in the passenger compartment despite every body panel having damage and the right rear wheel coming off...

I would suspect that the wall is not concrete but "Drivit" which is literally 2-3" deep styrofoam panels coated with a textured paint to look like a cement finish, That is why the spring looks imbedded.

Good police work by Adam-12 identifying that "white Jaguar F-Type four-door".

Jaguar's new direction is no longer a secret. 🤪

I was also thinking EIFS. You couldn’t penetrate a concrete wall that neatly or with force even this impressive. Sorry to see this. I know the area pretty well. No place but a race track for speeds like this, (yeah, I know, I do too) but Westheimer past the Galleria? Hate to speak ill of the dead, but that… naah, I don’t need to say it.
