If it's flat, why isn't it stuck on your shed door?

I actually purchased the listing you linked to... it didn't come with a JLR sticker like my other badge did, and it did not have the prongs on the back, which led me to conclude it was not OEM... are you sure yours was OEM?

Side note....If you are careful removing the chrome Leaper etc...You can reapply 3M Moulding tape to the back(after cleaning, and it on your toolbox.shed, or wherever Or even Paint it black, and have as a spare, or re-use instead of buying a new one.

I painted mine and looks great (IMO...others may feel differently).

I actually already plastidipped my original chrome leaper. While it looks good, the plastidip finish is matte and has a bit of texture to it. I think the gloss black badges will really bring the room together... I've returned the ebay leaper and ordered the oem one from britcar...

Yeah...PlastiDip not my favorite for this type of application (although I know some LOVE it). I sanded, etched/primed and painted mine gloss black. It is the OEM Leaper that came with the fixed wing I just installed. I am happy with the results, and it should last and be more scratch and chip resistant than PlastiDip (note: You can also buy PlastiDip Glossifier if you want to topcoat and get a glossy finish...just FYI).

...well apparently Britcar can't order the part for me without a VIN, and they would need to charge full retail, so I cancelled my order. Still looking for an OEM black leaper that will fit...

Uncanny timing, I have had the black emblems for a few months and was deciding if I was going to covert them and all of a sudden, it seems like a bunch of people had the same thought. Don’t sweat the emblems, the eBay ones I got were virtually identical to the factory badges. I ordered the black “R” badge from britcar and painted my “awd” emblem black and will paint the letter silver to match the car although not sure I’ll actually put it back on. I like the clean look of just the letter. Also thinking of leaving the R Off the front when I do my P7 grill. As far as exhaust, I had some carbon fiber & black tips made to carry the theme and added dark tail light tint As well. I think the black pack should have included this stuff, seems kind of weird to have black trim with random chrome badges.

You have to leave the R off the P7 grille as the R backing bracket does not fit the P7 grille honeycomb.

Not done yet, and I just had spinal surgery two weeks ago, so progress is slow. That’s why I was doing easy stuff like badges, but I did get word that my exhaust tips shipped today. When I get cleared to drive, I’ll have the welding done on the tips, maybe wrap a few other things like my new rotors and post some photos.
