As you can see in the pictures (hopefully), the top part of the chrome grill completely snapped. I was in an accident a few months ago and it was replaced and I am trying to determine if I am the one in a million people who has an F-type that has a broken chrome grill, or if it was installed incorrectly.

There isn't a chip on the front from a rock and it looks like it was snapped in two. Everything has a fracture point, but I find it neigh impossible to believe that my grill broke due to a small rock only after a week of driving it.

More inclined to believe it was installed to tight and twisting of my cars body is what caused it to fail.

Before I bring it up with the dealer (non-Jag) that repaired it... anyone else have issues with theirs?

That looks to me like stress from an improper installation caused it to crack.

There's no impact mark for a stone/debris to have caused this.

Having a difficult time discerning what I'm looking at in that picture.
Are you talking about the actual grille, or the beauty ring that frames the grill opening.
I thought all F-Type grilles were Black, the Grill Surround (or beauty ring) come chrome as standard, and black if you ordered the Black Pack.
