What's everyone doing with their OEM wheels after going aftermarket? Anyone in Texas with gerodynes takeoffs?

I have a set of of the dark grey oem in my after market wheel boxes.. Two of four have a scuff each. I'm not in Texas though. I was quoted over $200 each to repair the scuffs, which seems like a lot of money, so they are sitting in their boxes. Maybe Texas has less expensive repair options? Would consider selling them to fund my Wortec rotor purchase.

Wish I lived nearby, looks like a pretty nice deal.

Played with Photoshop a bit which I'm horrible at. Here's what the wheels should look like on the car.

Also, BC Forged just shot me over a picture of my wheels prior to shipping. Should be about a week...

Be prepared for a stepwise change in suspension performance. The unsprung weight reduction will make a huge difference.

What finish did you end up going with? I am happy with the quality of mine. Hope you will be too. Unhinged is correct. I felt a significant difference in handling and yours are likely a bit lighter than my two-piece. I didn't get an opportunity to weigh mine, but if you get a chance you should see if you can get a weight on each size.

I'm excited to feel the difference. When I owned an E46 M3 and swapped to Volk RE30's from factory wheels, the car's agility was night and day. I need to dial in alignment specs now. Right now, I'm close to zero front toe, and the car is all over the place.

I went will their brushed clear finish. I think this'll pop nicely with the contrast of the black metallic paint and the black pack accents. I was SO close to going with the two piece construction as I think both look incredibly good. I'll try to get a weight once they arrive and report back.

Arrived but tire mounting appointment isn't until Friday morning.

The finish is everything I thought they'd be -- absolutely stunning in person.

Alright, I think we might want to take this to the aftermarket wheel thread...

Those BC's above look great! what center caps are you running?

My front tires are getting low, so it's time to replace them or step up to new rims (plus tires).

I'd give BC Forged North America (Florida) a call and ask if they can make them. I'm sure they can.

The bcforged-na site doesn't show that model either. I had looked at the site where folks here got the VS forged because the people here praised their service and support. I like to support businesses that support the community. They also have experience with the likes of Lance, who has the same manhole cover brake rotors I do.

I'm still mulling this over and haven't called anyone yet. It's really money I don't need to spend; however, I'd like to go from 19 to 20 and slightly wider to go up a size in width, with offset perhaps slightly outboard. Not sure how much that last bit would be necessary given my desire for a wider rim.

For those wheel widths, those are excellent offsets as they leave adequate clearance to go to 265 tires in front and 305s in back.

I appreciate all the information. If I'm going to the effort and expense for new wheels, I'll probably go half an inch wider just to get in the middle of the rim width range for 365 and 305.

Good idea. If you do so, you’ll need to increase the aforementioned offsets by about 5mm to account for the wider wheels.

Does anyone know if we'll be able to fit 305/35/20 PS4S on the rear with these rims?

I have the same specs as Unhingd (32mm offset) and I'm lowered on Eibach springs (1 inch drop apparently). Mine is RWD so don't need to worry about AWD systems kicking up a fuss.

Thanks in advance
