Default Harry's Lap Timer and OBDLink MX+

I was wondering if anyone has any experience using HLT with the OBDLink MX+ bluetooth OBD2 device?

I've just had a go at setting things up and can retrieve reasonable looking values for the gear, RPM and throttle position, however the brake pressure and steering angle values are coming back as 0.

Does anyone have any experience with this in an F Type?

Have not used this particular product, but all of these generic/cross platform products interface with your phone and/or OBDII devices to read data from the various sensors/PID's in the vehicles. Not all options are available on all vehicles. The products typically have a list of all possible items, but each car may/or may not have various sensors or readings available.

So it is quite possible that it is interrogating the modules for readings that may not exist on our cars. (Such as brake pressure, or steering angle)

Thanks, that makes sense.
Based on some other reading I get the impression that it might be possible to setup custom PIDs, however that requires access to specific details that don't appear to be in the public domain.
