Default ELM327 bluetooth

I've been looking at the ELM327 bluetooth diagnostic tool and was wondering if anyone has purchased one. It has the ability to so real time data from the engine but as i look through the various ads I have yet to see if it will read oil pressure. It's a cool tool if you want to get data and i've seen it do water teem , speedometer , tach and various other measurements but have not seen oil pressure . Just asking

How do both of you like it. To bad it didn't show oil pressure so you can use a small tablet to do a live data check.

Late model Jag engines just have a low oil pressure switch, they do not monitor oil pressure across the range, so the data is not available.

Oil pressure is also not one of the mandatory OBDII parameters, so it is not available on generic OBDII readers.

I've had it about 6weeks (about $20 for ELM and Torque App) and so far it is easy to use - just got a tablet as the phone was a pain to use - still have a few things to figure out but overall satisfied

I've had mine maybe 6 months or so... I like the app, especially for the price, but really find the data available from our ECU pretty limited. It has lots of readouts, but I dont car about injector number 2 voltage on a regular basis. I did use it to chart my water temp when my thermostat was going, so I had logs to show the service manager, which was nice.
I have never had to clear a code on my car, but have used the bluetooth ELm and my phone to help others...
I also have a tablet, as the phone side is too small for use while driving, except to maybe show one gauge (you can configure up to 6 per screen)
The app also has performance benchmarks like 1/4mile times HP if you take the time to fill in a lot of technical details about your car... I have not done so...
I actually bought a tablet floor mount to position the tablet for useable data, but have not found a suitable mounting point without drilling holes(grrrr)
