I just suddenly lost sound on Sirius, FM, or through my phone. Tried to raise volume but, it’s stuck on 14. Went to settings and tried to increase bass & treble but, it immediately reverts to flat response. WTF?

First action:

Disconnect the battery ground cable for 10 minutes, then reconnect (and reset the auto-up power windows).

Post back w/results.

Flaky things happen to Jaguars when battery voltage drops, but they will usually start OK...

I know on other older models, like ours, you can reset the head unit, BUT corruption issues usually arise when voltage drops.

I don’t think it’s a voltage issue. Parked the car and was in a store for 10 minutes and came out to silence. Was going to try and disconnect the battery when I get home. 🤞🏼

Just got back in the car after a Dr’s appointment and it’s fine. Go figure. Jaguar being a Jaguar

Have you had a chance to disconnect the battery yet?

It happens from time to time for no apparent reason. I think the IAM gets confused sometimes and freaks out.
