Question Have you found the BEST iPhone/iPad mini Mount?

New owner, 2017 F Type. Two questions:

!) Like my Waze and Google maps...Its a unique cockpit, can anyone suggest the solution they have found for the best iPhone or iPad mini mount for the F Type? Articulating arm perhaps,

If you can reply with a model name and/or pic that would be great.

Thank you!

Second question was about mounting the STI Magnum small radar detector on the right or left side of the rear view mirror on the 2017's goofy small IR "hole" in the windshield, there is a owner here that is a guru on this, contacting him...

Mount the Magnum on the driver side.

Watch this video on how to configure it.

There's at least one long thread about various phone mounts.

Here's the iMagnet with suction mount. The version with the adhesive base is a bit sleeker, but I don't like gluing anything on my car.(I know...the whole car is glued together)

I bought these 2 and mounted them in the vent on the left side of the steering wheel. I went with the one on the bottom below because you can tighten it down very securely . I like the look of the first one more but it's covered 100% of the time so...

FYI, Costco has a two pack of Scosche magic mounts (suction cup) with a dual cig socket USB charger to boot for like $29.

I have it in my F and its perfect solution for heads up. I bought a long BLACK iPhone cord and tucked it in the center panel seem running to the back center USB charger, can't see it, clean...

I have one of these as well. Removes when not in use, works in multiple vehicles, and low cost solution.

My problem with the air conditioning vent mounts is that they cause the phone to cool down and then the battery loses its power.
