Default Headers for your F Type R sports car ?

Hello Everyone...
SuperSprint is considering developing and manufacturing headers for the Jaguar F-Type R sports car. We are looking for at least 10 people who are willing to commit to purchasing our headers as a group buy. Naturally, we will do Dyno tests to show how much power gains the headers made and show the Dyno results to you. If you are interested, please select your particular model car so we know the header design you will require. Thank you for your interest.

My concern would be if they were CARB compliant. In not too long, I'm going to need to start passing the California smog check every two years.

I could be wrong, but I'm thinking the issue is not the headers but rather what type of catalytic converter, or sport cats the car has which would determine fail or pass emissions test. I'm sure someone with much more knowledge than I, will chime in and give their viewpoint on this.

Default Videos ......

Here are a few videos. One video has a Porsche 911 being tested on our facility Dyno machine. Same will be done for the F Type R sports car headers during development.
Note: the Evolve headers are made by SuperSprint Italy.

Not an expert but I suspect they are the same as the only difference with the sportscats is the pipe before the s bend is slightly longer to miss the gearbox support

Default Update for the group buy, re: exhaust headers

Hi Everyone...
I'd like to start by thanking all 30 F Type R message board members, for their interest in the SuperSprint exhaust headers, as a Group Buy.

Here's an update for all of you.
We will have the F Type R sports car (donor car) arrive to our R & D facility on 6/14/22.
Once the car is here, our expert technicians and expert fabricators will assess the underside of the Jaguar F-Type R sports car, specifically the area where the stock factory exhaust manifolds are located, to see if there's enough room to create LONG TUBE Headers. Long tube headers achieve the maximum power output. It is not worth doing short length/tube headers, because for the amount of effort to create the short tube headers, it will not be cost effective, especially from a customer price point. Its not worth doing anything other than long tube headers for the Jaguar F-Type R sports car.

Our experts will make the determination and I will let everyone know the R & D results of this project.
If it's a yes with a green light, I will happily let all of you know the positive outcome of the vehicle examination.
Either way, you'll be informed of the final outcome.

Thank you very much for your interest in SuperSprint exhaust headers. Stay tuned!
Respectfully,
Roberto

Default F Type R vehicle examination outcome .......

Hello to everyone. I wish to thank all 34 F Type R sports car owners here on the message board, who have shown interest in joining the SuperSprint exhaust headers Group Buy.
I have an update for all of you. Sadly, I must tell you, the exhaust headers can not be made because there just isn't enough room to create and fit long tube exhaust headers in place of the stock factory exhaust manifolds. The Jaguar F-Type R sports car with German registration plates arrived to the SuperSprint research and development facility for installation of a full SuperSprint exhaust system; exhaust muffler, mid pipes and the Sport Cats. While doing this, the technicians and fabricators checked to see if there's enough free room/clearance to replace the stock exhaust manifolds with the long tube headers. The experts concluded, there isn't enough room to install long tube headers. In addition to this, the technical experts determined, that if the stock factory exhaust manifolds we're replicated by SuperSprint, there wouldn't be any additional horsepower gains/benefits and just isn't worth doing.
We were disappointed with this conclusion, but these are the facts. We would have loved to create and sell as a group buy, 34 sets of exhaust headers to all of you, increasing the power of your car. But If it is not possible or worthy of doing, we will never make a product, which would be nothing more than
a placebo effect exhaust part for the customer car.
As you can see from the various photos, we had the test car arrive to our
R & D facility for examination.

The most you can do to your car is upgrading your stock exhaust system; exhaust muffler, mid pipes and Sport Cats.
I'm sure many of you are disappointed with this news, as we are equally disappointed too.
As an alternative, if you are interested in upgrading your exhaust system, we are willing to offer our exhaust system to you at a special discounted price for a limited time. 30% off the regular listed price. Offer will be valid from June 16 through July 1, 2022.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me via private message or "Raffo" at our sales department:
sales@supersprint.com

We are here to serve you, the customer.
Thank you for considering SuperSprint exhaust system.
Respectfully,
Roberto

A while back VAP built a prototype “mid-length” tube header for me that was as long as would fit but still on the short-side. It netted just 4-5 additional horses, and together with the 200 cell cat needed to allow it to fit, produced a horribly raspy sound. Your findings don’t surprise me at all.

Default Thank you for your interest.....

Hello to all,
Thank you for your email inquiries regarding the exhaust headers. To be clear, we will not make the short tube headers. It's just not worth it, from the manufacturing provider side, as well as the end user, customer side. We sincerely appreciate your interest.
Thank you.
