Default Headlight Bracket Repair options Pre Facelift V6s

Hi all,
Somebody bumped into my parked car. Luckily no damage to the bumper other than paint transfer. However, the lower side tabs of both headlights have snapped. Now I can see repair kits online for the top mounting bracket but no solutions for these side points. I have attached pictures below. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hello,

For small repairs to plastic parts, I have a plastic welding gun.

That might be an option.
Here is an interesting video on the subject.

I'd reinforce that mounting area with some metal pieces shaped/cut to fit into the 'slot'. That would serve to hold the light in the proper position.

If that repair isn't stout enough, some thicker plastic underneath to hold the tabs might be warranted.

If that happened to us, I could see me spending HOURS getting everything 'just right'.
