Anybody else have an incessant ad for Jaguar titled, "A Heightened Sense of Adventure" continually popup while accessing this site from a laptop using the Firefox or Chrome browsers? I have yet to find a way to stop it. The video in the ad is over 8 minutes long. It does not appear if you use the Microsoft Edge browser.

I realize that advertising is needed to offset costs, but this ad is quite annoying. It has been appearing for over a week now. Closing it only causes it to popup again. Pausing it does not help much either.

 

I've been using Chrome and I have not seen it.

 

I use Brave which has a built in blocker so I don't see it:

I disabled the blockers and saw ads but nothing similar to what you mentioned. It's possible the ads are locale targeted....

I have the built in ad-blocker and pop-up blocker in Firefox turned on. They don't kill the ad. I installed AdBlock Plus to see what it would do. The ad still pops up but it does not play.

I just tried using a VPN. The Weather Channel now thinks I am in Piscataway New Jersey. No popup ad when I do that. Go figure.

The ad is hosted by Anyclip. There is a small logo indicating that in the upper right corner of the ad.
