Easy schmeasy, it's in your Owner Manual (page 195 in mine) under Vehicle Recovery, copy attached.
Under the centre console lid/hatch is a rectangular plastic cover, on the the left side or right side of the box (mine is on the left side but mine is RHD so maybe on a LHD car it is on the other side, I dunno).
Lever this cover off with a small stubby flat blade screwdriver, there is a small slot on the underside of the plastic cover just a mm or so back from the front edge.
Then once the cover is off you will see a red/orange strap and a slot inside a circular piece at the front end of that strap. Grab your screwdriver and turn that slot 90 degrees and the mechanism underneath releases and springs up a little.
Then grab the red strap and pull it straight up, this releases the Park pawl and puts the trans in Neutral.
The "special tool" is a stubby screwdriver which I carry all the time in the centre cubby!

lost 2 fuel injectors on one side, at minimum needs one bank of injectors and 6 plugs, inde shop seems very expensive as parts come to about $450 online, even if they charge double they want $2k in labor. I'm going to get a price from dealer and try to negotiate them down.

Don't be too surprised at the high quote as the fuel injectors can be a real bear to remove on these engines as quite often they are stuck super tight and it can take hours to get them out.
