Exclamation HELP - Battery disconnected trunk locked

As the title suggests I have disconnected the battery in the rear of my 2014 f-type, and the trunk was closed so now I can't open the electrically opened tailgate.

What can I do ?

Booster cables from another car/battery to the boost/charge ports under the hood.

There doesn't seem to be any plastic cover under the trunk lid and I have tried to connect my battery charger to the front battery however it won't recognise the battery and the powered trunk still won't open. I have attached pictures.

I disconnected the positive terminal in the trunk so that might be why it won't connect and charge?

You need a charged battery to connect to the jump points. If you connect a smart charger, it won't detect a battery (since none is present) and won't turn on. A dumb charger may work.

Connecting a real 6 amp battery charger to the under-hood posts will also work (****-ant little trickle chargers won't fire up anything on the car).

They won't work if a battery is connected and it is too dead either. I can't remember what the minimum voltage has to be though.
