Default help. I put on 305/35/20 from 305/30/20 and now sensors are going crazy.

I put on a set of 305/35/20 in place of the factory 305/30/20. I used the factory rims and now I have just about every sensor going off. TPMS, ABS, parking break and also I cant open the trunk using the button on kfob or on trunk. Any help please. I want to keep the 35's if at all possible

You're running too tall of a tire.

Yup. Rolling diameter is too tall. You need a 30 profile for the rear.

One of these: http://indianautosblog.com/wp-conten..._4847-Copy.jpg
Same motor and tune as the F-Type R.

Well thats probably your issue. If the xkrs came with smaller wheels than the 305/30/20s you had on it initially, and you increased the diameter of the rear tire by another inch, it probably thinks something is wrong with the car because the wheel speed of the rear wheels is so much higher than that of the front all the time.

This doesn't explain your trunk problem though, unless Jaguar has some weird logic about that in the software.

Throw a 40 profile tire on the front (255 or 265 wide). That'll solve the problem.

Yes. That's right.

OP :Keep your front and rear overall diameter within 5% and you'll be fine. The awd is constantly monitoring each wheel speed.

Nup, the XKRS-GT is RWD only, and I believe all XKs are RWD only.
Also, see here for a reasonably good review of the XKRS-GT: https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-review...s-gt-2012-2014

True, but the ABS is also monitoring the rotational speed of each of the wheels. If not within some range (e.g. 5%) it will throw a code.

Oops my bad, I didn't pay attention to the RWD part, still the traction control system monitors each wheel speed along with steering angle and yaw...

thx all. Ill look into some fronts. I might go with a 245/40/20. ill measure how much clearance I have up front. 40's are aprox 2' more in circumference then the stock 35's.

You need to go with at least a 255 (best a 265/40) to ensure a close match on circumference. If you are using OEM offset wheels and no spacers, there will be no clearance issues.

Doh! I just remembered you don't have an F-Type. You definitely will need to check clearance.

Seeing 2' more in circumference reminds me of Spinal Tap's Stonehenge model.

First of all, if you want informed opinions about an XK, this isn 't the right list. But a change in tire dimensions is not going to affect the trunk release, or the parking brake....a known issue on the XK (any version of it - but by no means only on the XK) is that random electrical issues, including warning lights and door, window and seat modules, touchscreen...really problems in any electrical system, can be traced to a battery putting out less than full voltage. So, how old is the battery? Is the car used almost daily or does it sit for days at a time? Is the car new to you? Is it used for short runs?...check the X150 list and threads on the battery and CTEK battery maintainers. The tpm warning light may well be asssociated with the tire change but may also be related to battery voltage.

Ok this is what I did. I put a 255/40/20 on the front and took for a spin and no sensor issue. To recap I put a 305/35/20 drag radial on the factory 12/20 wheels. I left the front factory tires on 255/35/20. This made a 5% circumference difference front to back using a tire comparison chart. The factory circumference difference was .7%. I then put the 255/40/20 on front using the factory 9/20 wheels. This circumference difference is 1.4%. Thx for the opinions / ideas. I couldn't have done it without the help.
