I ended up reinstalling my DED after experimenting with the Meridian OEM amp and speakers. The difference between the OEM sound system and a DSP tuned system using the DED as the flat output is night and day. I just had to hear it again to confirm.
@jcb-memphis you are right, the audio threads are confusing unless you are a car audio SQ hobbyist and music lover. There aren't many of us on the forum, but at least the info we provide can help others decide if they want to upgrade and how to do it.

After as long delay (procrastination), I'm back on the effort to complete my upgrades. Initial plan was to use use the 3-way speaker-level outputs from my 770W meridian system to feed my DSP (Audio Control D-6.1200), but as you know, that still leaves all of the factory processing and limitations to address. I've got a 2017 so I'm assuming it's optical MOST. Is there a decoder available?
Hey bud long time. Would not go by year, the only way to know 100% is to look at the connection to the amplifier.
Can I get to that without pilling the entire panel behind the seats? Does the rear hatch side panel come off without removing the large panel behind the seats?
Thinking about it differently - the input for the amp comes from head unit so might be able to recognize the optical or ethernet line running from front to back if i pop the middle cover behind the armrest?

Yes, if you can get a good pic of the connections at the IAM we should be able to determine the system you have.
Jaguar tended to do some goofy stuff when they were switching some model years from one to the next so without visualizing it you're rolling the dice
Not a great pic but...if this doesn't cut it then I can pull each and take pics opf the plugs. I can't get my phone back at a better angle without blocking the light.
Not 100% sure on what yours has yet from the pics. If you wanted to swing by I can look at he amp connections. Once you know how to take the panels out its pretty quick.
@TH3FRB You have MOST so you will need the mObridge unit. This is what ethernet connectors look like (2018 - present day):

Yes, digital ethernet in the F-Type uses what is called a Fakara Connection. Not familiar with the MOST stuff so can't help there.
Wow I just realized you have the original FoMoCo combo Radio/CD player! 100% MOST. I wish I had the integrated CD player in my 2019 as I have many from my younger days gathering dust.
The double tan MOST input next to the blue one is likely your audio in and audio out. This is what you plug into. It creates a fiber optic ring of data, much like a TOSLINK cable. Here are what the cables look like.
Get the mObridge kit and don't fuss with trying to tame the high level inputs from the Meridian amp. A pure digital TOSLINK signal will save you much frustration.

You were replying to me, yes? I was thinking that tan double plug might be optical because it needs an in and out. Now I'm leaning towards getting a different DSP that directly accepts TOSLINK input.
