Picked up my 17 F-Type R about a month ago here in Miami. 500-ish miles later (daily driver, rain or shine) and I still love it. I'm just constantly amazed at how much more pleasant my commute is - even sitting in typical Miami Beach traffic.
The obligatory pictures - sorry they're terrible, I've been too busy driving to take photos.
Welcome and congratulations. Looks like the car is black? Which black? Interior black too?
So I'm assuming it's ultimate black (black metallic), but I actually wasn't too worried about the exact color and don't have the sales sheet in front of me. The interior is black with the red contrast stitching. It's a great-looking car, although it shows dirt like nobody's business. Ice been having it washed weekly on Fridays, and by next Wednesday it looks filthy again. I might give one of the ceramic coatings a try to see if it helps any. Miami is awful with dust and pollen, so that's going to be a constant struggle.
My last jag was ebony black, nothing like it when clean and polished. I went with white this time. Still wash it every week. I do have protective film and the cquartz.

I would wash it every week, but I live in an apartment building with no hoses in the garage, and just feel silly paying for a wash every week. It's still a beautiful car, though. I'm considering wrapping the entire car in a clear matte protective bra cover. That or doing the ceramic coat.
I'd definitely do the full hood, mirrors, and side skirts at minimum with film. I had one stone chip and ran to get it done. The synthetic coating helps keep the car cleaner too. The ceramic doesn't stop chips.
