Given your answers, I might have them check for air in the system. I know when my XK was not bled correctly, it ran hot till I had a shop re-bleed the coolant system.

EuroAMP thermostats are aftermarket, aren't they? Might be suspect...

I mentioned in a previous post, I brought this up to them. They vaccum it out or something, the tech dismissed it.

Yeah. I'm going to warranty it and go back to OEM. Keep it as backup.

How does the Torque app work? Is there an issue with using the OBD2 port and the car shutting down? Is there a link to the app so I get the correct one? Thanks.

Only available on android.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...g.prowl.torque

Need an OBD2 reader that you connect via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. It then reads all the sensors in the car and displays it via the app on the phone.

My 2016 has the parasitic drain, whatever I plug in there gives the same issue. Needs a 10 min negative terminal disconnect to reset.

I have a 2021 face-lift and as long I press "quit" in the app then I don't have battery issues.

I once closed the torquepro app without quiting and I came back to the car with low battery and lots of warning messages until I charged and reset battery.

so always shut down properly I have no problems

Known issue for my year range, I tried to get JLR to code it off. But since my car is out of warranty they wanted me to submit to a 24/hr battery test first and then a plethora of troubleshooting at $260/hr shop rate. /Pass

Tech called today and advised the water pump was found to be the culprit, was replaced by him in my March preventative maint. so i don't have details on mfg. Anywho, warranty and replaced.

Still need an axle and probably a new rad soon, but that's another story and not related.
