That is a whole lot of damage. It's going to take quite a bit to put that car right. Even then it will never be the same.

I like the 'visit us for a test drive.'

Umm, yeah.

Don't think so since there is no evidence of passenger airbag deployment, meaning no passenger in the car. It doesn't look like a collision with another vehicle, but looks like the driver lost it and went off-roading.

Agreed, it'll never be the same. That's really too bad

Ugh.

Difficult to believe that that could be an economic repair - bad enough what you can see, never mind what's not visible. The fact that it's on eBay strongly suggests the insurer wrote it off.

Does the blown out driver seat have an internal airbag?

It's a Category D insurance write-off (UK insurance-speak), which means the insurer believes it can repaired for less than it's market value (but too damaged for the insurer to be arsed with it themselves!).

It *can* be a good way to get a car on the cheap if you're prepared to patch it up, although the Cat D part stays with its history forever more, visible to future buyers if they do a search (and therefore will be worth less than an equivalent car that wasn't smashed up!).
