Default Hood louvre replacement

Have a 2016 F type S coupe in silver. Hood louvres are gloss black. Anyone know if they can be swapped out for matching silver? Paint best option? Stop trying to improve upon an already magnificent design?
Please be kind
Thanks

Dealers carry them in Chrome, Black and Carbon Fiber.

Your best (and cheapest) bet is to take them off, take them to a body shop and get them painted.

I have black louvers on the hood and sides and I think the car looks better this way as there is something to break up all the white, but to each their own.

Ordinarily I would agree 100% that black is better (I had silver in my silver XKR and swapped them for cf which I thought looked much snazzier) but this picture of a silver AWD with matching silver vents looks pretty awesome. Personally I'd buy some new ones and have them painted, that way you could swap them back if it took your fancy. No point trying to wrap them because you'd never get a perfect match on the wrap colour.

I purchased silver wire mesh inserts from Mina Gallery. I think they look
terrific on my AWD S.

I have a spare set for a RWD model that I would be willing to sell. They are brand new and came off of my 2015 with black pack when I switched to carbon fiber. I now have an AWD R and no use for them.

PM me if your are interested.

Here is a picture of them.

Lowest dealer price I have seen is $240 for the set. I am asking $80 and will pay the shipping.

I don't think they will work. Mine are mesh.
Thank you though.

No problem... they are a direct fit though.

There are 2 types of louvers available for your car. The honeycomb mesh and these which are the upgraded RWD "R" style louvers that are part of the "black pack".

They fit all rear wheel drive F-Type models 2014-2017.

it looks like silver weave carbon fibre is a new addition to accessories and so is the chrome bonnet louvre

No... best bet is paint them.

However, if you were going to paint them I would recommend you buy a set of the SATIN BLACK vents (which were standard on base model F-Types). The satin finish will allow for better adhesion of the primer and paint. And you will still have your gloss black pair as spares.

If no one has a set for resale, they are between $300-$400 for the pair from a dealer.

Part numbers for the honeycomb mesh vents in SATIN BLACK are: T2R9764 and T2R9766
