I did a search here and surprised I didn't see this addressed for the F Type. I also checked YouTube but I saw for the F Pace and tried that method but it didn't seem to work. The message just pops up saying service due in 1400 miles. I thought I reset this once before without issue.

 

To reset the maintenance indicator:

1) Set ignition on
2) Open hood
3) Open driver's door
4) Fully depress both accelerator and brake pedals for 10 seconds
5) Turn off ignition

If the message still appears, try again.

The exception is that I’ve never ever gotten confirmation that I reset it successfully, but if I do it correctly, the message stays gone for another year.

 

Thanks. I did this and not sure it reset the message. I thought when I did it last year it said "resetting" but this time-nothing. I will double check and if I have to, do it again.

 

Mine gives no indication when resetting, just an absence of messages on next start.
