how to fix Vibrations coming from Central storage?
hi guys, I am having horrible vibration wqhen listening to music coming from that plastic trim in the central storage compartment. When i apply pressure on it it does disapear. Any recommendation / solution?
We do not have one of those. They were either discontinued or ot fitted in the convertibles.
Only thought is to see if you can eliminate the problem by packing the space tightly with something that presses against the door from the inside.
That presumes you do not normally use ths cubby.
We just have a string pouch and I find it almost useless because it is behind me while I am driving.

You could first try using something like permatex silicone spray if you think the squeaky trim pieces are accessible. Or:
Unless there is a YouTube video showing how to remove the panels behind the seat, you probably will need to download the service manual to see what you have to do to get to the cubbyhole. I had a merc convertible with similar issue. Very annoying. You can buy 1mm thick felt and or foam rubber tape to sandwich between the contacting trim pieces. The other method is to use high viscosity silicone grease. Spray or grease silicone lubricant does not harm plastics.
