How to lock doors with bonnet open
I guess heat soak is not such a problem in more temperate zones but a switch or setting would be helpful, our forecast here for Monday is 41C.
I also do have a homemade Faraday cage, I cut the thumb off a cheap ($5) Aldi butchers glove. The fob squeezes in and works even beside the door handle.

Hello F type helpers.
My search of various threads seems to indicate the doors/hatch won't lock if the bonnet is up.
Does anyone have a work around for this, I like to leave the bonnet up to reduce the heat soak in the engine bay after a run.
It takes hours so I can't sit around waiting.
any ideas gratefully received.

. After you park and lock restart the car via the InControl app and it will run for up to 30 minutes. If you think your that hot, set the climate control to 90F/32c. You could also consider investing in a ODB app to better determine if you want to leave the bonnet open.
If you feel this neccasary, these cars did come with a built in turbo timer
