Default How to turn off the wipers

I searched the forum but couldn't find any information on how to completely turn off the wipers. They tend to go off when there is dirt on the windshield but that only makes it worst since there's no water on the surface sometimes.

Pull the right hand column stalk down into the Off position, and the wipers will stop activating.

I realise that posession of a Y chromosome means that we're not disposed to look at the manual, but if you can't figure out how the controls work yourself, that's your only option.

Or you could ask someone. But, that's like asking for directions...

I thought it was only available with an automatic.

Seriously, I find the rain-sensing wipers work well, though I try to avoid driving in the rain.

I'm not sure if my wipers work. I've never seen them on.

Manual says the start/stop deactivates at less than 0 deg. Snow has advantages!
