Default I got the Infamous DRL failure…

Well it happened to MY18, right side DRL went out with no warning, cars heading to the shop tomorrow, luckily car still has CPO warranty. I know this is a very common issue, was shocked to see it just went completely out and that it affects the turn signal from working as well…so guess it’s just one of those issues that needs fixed…if you’re like me, and part of the minority and actually use your turn signals lol

Ouch. That's the first time I hear about one going out completely. Sounds like some other issue then, because the common facelift DRL issue is that the driver side (LHD) DRL gets weaker over time due to overheat burn marks on a component.

Hmmm, wonder what other issue it could be…some type of control module/short/fuse? Expecting my local dealer to prob struggle if it’s not just as easy as replacing the unit lol

I don't know about Jag, but that's the case with BMW. Our X7 had the same issue and it was a burned module that can be replaced by itself. Thing is, the module also gets hot and melts the back of the headlight where it shines into the little light tubes. We replaced our X7 headlight to the tune of about $7k (dealer price, warranty covered). Gotta love LEDs!
