As my f-type doesn't have the stolen vehicle tracking system, they offered me from the jaguar to install an immobilizer.
Have you guys installed it? Is it a hassle to start pushing the key-buttons every time you want to start your car?
By the way, they price is around 1,500 EUR, is it within the normal range?

 

Seems to me that it would be a very reasonable DIY project to install a kill switch and hide the control in the glove box or center console cubby.

 

these are the first checks the intruders do. Locking the car by using any mean of software, seems to be better...
at least, I believe that only "professionals" can override it.
the only think is that I don't know if this procedure will be time consuming for every day driving
