How do I obtain InControl account PIN for my recently purchased 2015 F Type please? Car has one previous owner and account is still in her name.

 

I called InControl and had to email them something with my name and the vehicle number and they cancelled the prior membership and added mine. It's a good thing to do because the prior person can still see where you car is on their app should they choose to look, or even start the car remotely. Calling the Jag number off of the website will get you to InControl.

 

I had to send in control my registration paperwork to verify ownership. Took them a few days to transfer into my name. It appears that in control is going away or be limited in the near future. That’s a completely separate thread though.

 

Download the Jaguar Remote App. Follow instructions to link app with your car through VIN. You'll be asked to create PIN. This will be tied to Incontrol but list as Jaguar Apps after install which you'll have to download separately. Just did this for my 2018.
