used car InControl app registration

So I bought a CPO F-Type and wanted to connect it to the InControl app and when I tried to register an account it told me the car was connected to another account. Likely the person who had the car before I bought it from the dealer. How do I go about removing him from the account and connecting it to mine? Anyone else have any experience with this?

When I turned my lease in the car wasn’t removed immediately from my InControl acct. I called the dealer and they removed it from my InControl acct. I suggest you contact your local dealer - shouldn’t be a big deal.
