I thought the ICR was a good idea... find the car in an unfamiliar locale.. or help track it.. or see if the dealer even started working on it. Has worked fine since 2020 when I bought the car. Now just this week, I checked the app on my tablet, and it shows the car at my last stop, the last time I drove it. I didn't set any address for NAV. All I did was look at "journeys' within the app.

Mine does that because it doesn't always update in a timely fashion. I don't have Journeys activated but when I go to send an address to the car it will often show the car at one of (but not always) the last stops I made with it. It usually corrects itself once it's driven again.
