Question Remote Climate is not available.

Anyone know how to "wake up" the Remote system so I can use my remote start during those cold days? Not sure when it stopped working, but went to use it one day, and was given the below message.

"Remote Climate is not available. To conserve power, the InControl Remote system is now asleep and will wake up when the vehicle is next used. Once awake, you can use the Wake Up Timer to enable remote features for a date in the future."

Tried uninstalling the app and logging out and back in. Tried looking for the settings in the car, but can't seem to find anything.

Anyone having a similar problem?

I remember reading somewhere that if you have not started the care in 48hrs (i believe) you have to manually start the engine unless you previously told the app to "wake" the car up on a specific day. If you are driving it every day then I have no idea how to help you. Good luck.

Default Car not communicating with app

Can't change that timer setting in the app. Looks like the app isn't connecting with the car. Need to take it in to service.

Good luck with that. My vehicle's internet has never worked and they can't seem to figure it out. Waiting to hear back from the engineers as to why my user profiles keep messing up too. Fun times.

I can't remember the answer but it is discussed somewhere in the owner's manual.

The remote app completely stopped working for me, in mid-December, for my 2018 F-Type. The app thinks the car is located about 20 clicks away (and stationary, since then) and that the doors are locked but the vehicle is not alarmed (is that even possible?!). The remote start does not work at all. On Android v.9 on a Galaxy S9+.

I reached out to the remote app team (remote@jaguarlandrover.com) and received the following response in an impressive 18 minutes:Thank you for getting in touch. We believe we may know what might be causing this and are working on a resolution.

Sadly I have received no further info. I've reinstalled the app with no luck.

Anyone else having this issue and/or have you been able to find a work-around? It's cold in Toronto

Got it working for me. That's the coolest thing ever! Makes me wish I could go back to 1999 when I was in high school and have my friends over and say "check it out boys!"
